Ninja’s Colonia Expedition

A 24-hour Elite: Dangerous stream in aid of Mind UK

                 

Ninja will be travelling from her home in Chona to Colonia over the course of a 24hr expedition. A fundraising charity stream! With prizes from Frontier Developments on offer and plenty of insane but loveable shenanigans to be had, why not come along for the ride? We'll be playing in the NinjaSpaceUnicorn private group.

Never been on a long distance expedition before? Have no fear! We have help here.

                 

Recommendations:

  • It’s all about the jump range
  • A-rated FSD
  • Guardian FSD booster
  • Engineering for Increased Range
  • Self-repair
    • Repair limpet controller (Repair your own hull damage)
    • Don’t! Forget! Limpets!
    • AFMU (Repair your own module damage)
  • Fuel, and lots of it
    • A good fuel scoop, the bigger the better as it saves time, you’ll be scooping a lot
    • Consider a second fuel tank, just in case (but route plot using only scoopable OBAFGKM type stars)
  • A stripped-down Anaconda (a Jumpaconda) gives you the best range (70-80 LY)
  • Any Asp X, Krait Mk II or similar will do the job with the above recommendations and give you 40-50 LY easily
  • Bring along an SRV or two for the sights from the ground and picking up mats
  • Bring along an Artemis Suit for the Genetic Sampler for some exobiology

Landing on this planet is extremely hazardous.
